After graduating with a degree in architecture from the Politecnico of Milan in 1987, Luisa Battaglia chose to go and work in the family company in 1990 when she was still very young. Since then, she has gone from working as a designer to creative director, transforming the company into a well-structured corporate business, defining the line and image of the catalogues, advertising material and trade fair stands in Italy and abroad. She became artistic director in 2018. Luisa Battaglia brings her knack for talent scouting and her intuition to choosing the designers with whom to work, guiding them every step of the way. From the brief to the development of the prototype, a constant dialogue between company and architect is called for because she is convinced that there must be coherence, first and foremost, of the idea and then, the language, respecting the designer’s hallmark trait, whilst ensuring that...
